Hospitality Meets Education: CEO of Casino du Liban and CEO of Akfar Holding and Babel Restaurants Visit Don Bosco Technical School.
In a powerful testament to the importance of industry-education collaboration, Don Bosco Technical School proudly welcomed the CEO of Casino du Liban Mr. Roland Khoury and the CEO of Akfar Holding and Babel Restaurants Mr. Dory Rizk for an engaging and forward-looking visit.
This exceptional delegation brought with it a wealth of expertise from Lebanon’s hospitality, culinary, and entertainment sectors — providing our students and staff with a unique opportunity to connect with leaders who embody the very best of the industry.
During their visit, our guests toured the school’s state-of-the-art training facilities, including our Hotel Management kitchens and service labs, culinary classrooms, and hospitality event spaces. They observed hands-on demonstrations by our students, interacted with instructors, and gained insight into our curriculum, which blends Salesian values with technical skill and professional ethics.
What truly made this visit special was the shared belief that education is a gateway to opportunity. The representatives expressed admiration for the professionalism, energy, and discipline of our students — recognizing them as future contributors to Lebanon’s vital service economy.
More than a visit, this was the beginning of potential collaborations, internships, and training opportunities that can directly connect our students with some of the country’s most respected names in hospitality and food service.
At Don Bosco, we believe that forming strong partnerships with industry leaders is essential to preparing the next generation for success — not only in the workplace, but in life.
We thank Mr. Roland Khoury and Mr. Dory Rizk, for their inspiring presence, and we look forward to growing together in service of youth, excellence, and Lebanon’s future.
