“Let no one feel like a stranger in our home.”
Cœur+ :A shared commitment to respectful, confidential, and caring support for students
Our educational mission, inspired by Don Bosco’s Preventive System, is based on the belief that every young person carries a unique and precious potential. With this vision, we focus on strengthening together the fundamental principles that guide our daily work with students.
Welcoming each student in their uniqueness
Every young person is much more than their difficulties or particular needs. Our role is to recognize and value “the good hidden in the heart of every young person,” as Saint John Bosco invites us. By sincerely taking an interest in what they love, we create a climate of trust conducive to their growth. “Love what the young love, so that they may learn to love what you love.”
Protecting confidentiality, an ethical commitment
Information shared with our Cœur Plus [Psycho-social] office is confidential. It must be used solely in the educational and protective interest of the student, with the utmost discretion. Respecting this confidentiality honors the dignity of each child and strengthens the trust of families.
Accompanying with kindness
and without judgment
Our educational approach is based on listening, respect, and encouragement. Every story deserves to be received with understanding and hope. By adopting an open and positive attitude, we promote inclusion and trust, which are essential for each young person’s growth.
Maintaining clear professional boundaries
Our relationships with students must always remain within an educational framework marked by care and respect. We avoid any personal involvement or communication outside the school context to preserve everyone’s balance. We also thank our colleagues for respecting established procedures: any observation regarding a student must be recorded on the specialized help request form and submitted to the Cœur Plus office, so that we can evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately.
Working as a team for the protection of minors
Our recommendation: if you witness or are informed of a situation that could put a student at risk, do not hesitate to inform the social worker immediately. Together, we are stronger in supporting each young person under the best possible conditions.
Educating through presence and kindness
Our method, preventive rather than punitive, is based on reason, religion, and kindness. Attentive presence and a gentle attitude are the pillars of each student’s well-being and safety.
In conclusion, every word, action, and decision we make contributes to building an environment where each young person feels seen, respected, and safe.
Thanks to the daily commitment and professionalism of everyone, our school is a place of growth and trust.
Together, let us continue to embody Salesian values in the service of every young person!
