Les Visionnaires: Celebrating Skilled Intelligence, Human Potential, and the Future
Don Bosco Technical School proudly celebrated the graduation of its students under the inspiring title “Les Visionnaires” – The Visionaries.
The title was chosen to represent a generation that does not simply wait for the future, but actively imagines it, builds it, and dares to shape it. Our graduates have learned, dreamed, created, and progressed together. Today, they proudly carry the spirit and values of Don Bosco as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
This year’s graduation theme, “SI vs AI: Skilled Intelligence versus Artificial Intelligence,” highlighted one of the most important conversations of our time: the relationship between technology, technical skills, and human potential.
Artificial intelligence is transforming the world, creating new opportunities and changing the way we study, work, and communicate. However, the ceremony emphasized that technology cannot progress or survive without the human factor behind it. AI may provide powerful tools, but it is human intelligence, creativity, judgment, values, and skilled hands that give these tools purpose.
The message at the heart of the celebration was clear: the future needs both the hand and the human being – “la main et l’humain.” Technical education develops more than professional abilities. It builds capable individuals who know how to think, create, solve problems, work with precision, and transform knowledge into meaningful action.
The celebration was honoured by the presence of many distinguished guests, including political representatives, school directors, educational leaders, military officials, community figures, and friends of Don Bosco Technical School.
We were especially privileged to welcome the Minister of Industry, Joe Issa El Khoury, whose presence carried great importance for our school and our graduates. His participation helped raise awareness of the essential role of technical and vocational education in Lebanon. In a country that needs skilled professionals, innovative minds, and productive young people, technical education is not a secondary path—it is a fundamental pillar for economic growth, industrial development, and a stronger future.
The graduation ceremony was more than the conclusion of an academic journey. It was the beginning of a new generation that believes, builds, creates, and dares.
Our graduates leave Don Bosco Technical School equipped not only with certificates and technical skills, but also with confidence, responsibility, discipline, and hope. They are ready to enter the professional world, contribute to their communities, and face the future with courage.
They sang, dreamed, and moved forward together. Today, they proudly carry the spirit of Don Bosco.
They are “Les Visionnaires”.
We are those who dare and those who hope.
