History
The Don Bosco Technical School in Fidar, Lebanon, was founded in 2002 as part of the Salesian mission to provide vocational and technical training for young people, especially those from marginalized backgrounds. During its early years, the institution offered a variety of short-term professional training programs and services designed to equip Lebanese youth with practical skills for immediate employment.
In 2016, the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), in collaboration with a consultancy firm, launched a study to develop a renewed educational vision focused on long-term academic and professional formation. This vision was implemented in 2017 with the introduction of a structured academic pathway that includes the Brevet Professionnel (BP), the Baccalauréat Technique (BT), and Higher Technical Classes (TS).
Today, Don Bosco Technique continues to grow and evolve, remaining faithful to its Salesian mission of empowering youth through education and work. The institution is committed to continuous development, aiming for educational excellence and a lasting social impact in Lebanon and beyond.
