BT1 MI
General Program Overview – BT1 MI
The First Year Technical Certificate – Industrial Mechanics Track (BT1 MI) introduces students to the fundamentals of industrial mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and machine maintenance. This first year aims to develop essential technical skills that enable students to properly operate and maintain industrial equipment.
The main objectives of BT1 MI are:
- To understand the general operation of mechanical and electrical systems;
- To acquire basic skills in fitting, assembly, welding, and tool handling;
- To learn about pneumatic and hydraulic circuits;
- To develop the ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
- To adopt proper safety and workshop practices;
- To consolidate general subjects necessary for the industrial field.
