Student innovations took center stage at Don Bosco Technique’s annual science fair, where the brightest minds on campus presented original projects spanning robotics, renewable energy, electronics, and applied mechanics. The event gave students a platform to demonstrate the technical skills they build throughout their studies at Don Bosco Technique.
Student Innovations on Display Across Every Discipline
Judges and visiting industry professionals toured the exhibits, asking students to explain their design choices, troubleshoot live demonstrations, and describe the real-world problems each project aimed to solve. Several teams built working prototypes, including small-scale renewable energy systems and automated tools built from recycled materials.
The fair reflects the hands-on approach at the heart of our Technical Education programs and our Vocational Training tracks, where students apply classroom theory to real projects from their first year on campus.
Encouraging the Next Generation of Innovators
Groups such as UNESCO-UNEVOC highlight project-based learning and science fairs as effective ways to build problem-solving skills that transfer directly into technical careers. Don Bosco Technique plans to expand student innovations events in future years, giving more classes the chance to design, build, and present their own projects.
