On Friday, September 19, 2025, Don Bosco Technique – Fidar organized its Assemblée Générale (General Assembly) under the theme:
“The Professionalization of Staff: A Strategic Lever for Educational and Technical Excellence.”
The event gathered the entire educational community for a day of formation, reflection, and celebration, highlighting the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
A Day of Reflection and Growth
The program began with a warm welcome (8:45 – 9:00), followed by a Eucharistic Celebration (9:00 – 10:00), grounding the day in faith and unity. A convivial coffee break (10:00 – 10:20) gave staff the chance to connect before the first session.
The plenary session (10:20 – 11:50), titled “Trained Staff, a Performing School”, emphasized the importance of well-prepared educators and technicians as the foundation of an excellent institution.
In the late morning, participants engaged in training and reflection workshops (11:50 – 13:00), fostering collaborative learning and professional exchange.
During this session, the school also received wonderful news: three of our students were selected to take part in the international project “Don Bosco traverse l’Atlantique.” These young ambassadors will have the chance to travel to Brussels 🇧🇪, Paris 🇫🇷, and Tenerife 🇪🇸, to live a unique experience of encounter, exchange, and discovery.
Commitment to Protection and Community Spirit
Afterwards, a special session was dedicated to the Charter for the Protection of Minors (13:00 – 13:30), reaffirming Don Bosco’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for every student.
A Memorable Conclusion
The Assembly concluded with a festive lunch (13:30 – 15:00), where the atmosphere was lifted by the live performance of Ralph C and the Band. The closing session was not only a celebration of unity and teamwork but also a joyful moment filled with laughter, music, and beautiful memories shared by all.
With this General Assembly, Don Bosco Technique once again demonstrated its dedication to forming competent, responsible, and value-driven educators who contribute to shaping the future of young people in Lebanon.
