CHRISTMAS SPIRITUAL RETREAT FOR OUR STUDENTS AT DON BOSCO TECHNICAL SCHOOL

In preparation for Christmas, Don Bosco Technical School organized a heartfelt Spiritual Retreat for its students—an enriching journey of faith, reflection, and joyful anticipation. Rooted in our Salesian mission and Christian values, this retreat invited students to step away from the busyness of daily life and rediscover the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Christ, a message of love, humility, and hope.

Held on campus in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the retreat was led by educators, priests, and pastoral leaders who guided students through moments of prayer, reflection, and personal sharing. Through Bible readings centered on the Nativity, guided meditation, confession, and times of silence, students were encouraged to open their hearts and prepare spiritually for the coming of Emmanuel—God with us.

The Christmas retreat was not only a time for deep reflection, but also a celebration of joy and community, in the true spirit of Don Bosco. Students participated in group discussions, creative workshops, and moments of praise through song, fostering unity and strengthening their sense of belonging. These activities helped students reflect on how to live the values of generosity, forgiveness, service, and compassion in their daily lives.

Throughout the retreat, students were invited to reflect on the gift of Christ’s birth and how they can become signs of hope and light for others, especially the most vulnerable. The experience encouraged them to grow not only academically, but also spiritually and emotionally, embracing the Salesian call to be “good Christians and honest citizens.”

At Don Bosco Technical School, we believe that true education nurtures both the mind and the heart. This Christmas Spiritual Retreat reaffirmed our commitment to forming young people who live with faith, hope, and love—today and always.
