FESTA BOSCO 26

On the occasion of the Feast of Saint John Bosco, Don Bosco Technical School joyfully celebrated FESTA BOSCO 26 through two meaningful days marked by faith, joy, and fraternity, placing young people at the heart of the celebration.

The festivities began on Friday, January 30, 2026, with a full day dedicated to students. The day opened with a spiritual celebration through the Holy Mass held in the school theatre and presided over by Father Dany Kerio, responsible for Salesian Youth. This moment of prayer and unity invited students to rediscover the spirit of Don Bosco and his educational mission founded on love, hope, and trust in young people.

Following the spiritual moment, the celebration continued with a theatrical performance presented by students on the AT department stage, showcasing their creativity, talents, and commitment through an artistic and meaningful presentation.

Joy and conviviality were also present throughout the day with the “Hall Mama Marguerita” tasting corner, offering a variety of sweets and flavors that brought students together in a warm and festive atmosphere. The program continued with several sports and recreational activities, including a Babyfoot tournament, basketball three-point challenges, football penalty shootouts, and group games that encouraged teamwork, fair play, laughter, and shared joy.

The celebrations continued on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with a solemn Eucharistic celebration held at Notre-Dame de Dweir Church – Fidar, gathering the Salesian community, educators, students, and friends of the Salesian mission. The Mass was presided over by His Excellency Bishop César Essayan, Vicar Apostolic of the Latins in Lebanon, and reflected the deep spiritual dimension of the feast, renewing the commitment to walk in the footsteps of Saint John Bosco in serving and accompanying young people.

After the Mass, participants gathered at Don Bosco Technical School for a fraternal lunch held in the school’s new central kitchen, bringing together His Excellency the Bishop, the Italian Army – MIBIL, and the Salesian Fathers in an atmosphere of friendship, partnership, and mutual appreciation.

The celebration concluded with a deeply moving moment of gratitude when the Italian Army – MIBIL offered the school a “Pulmino” (minibus) placed at the service of the students, as a concrete sign of support for their educational journey and a strong commitment to youth development.

FESTA BOSCO 26 was more than a celebration; it was a living testimony to the enduring spirit of Don Bosco—where faith meets joy, education meets life, and young people remain at the center of the mission, as a true sign of hope for the future.
