BP1 PES

General Description of the BP1 PES Program

The Professional Certificate – 1st Year (BP1) in the Physical Education and Sports (PES) track aims to develop students’ essential competencies related to individual and team sports activities. The program combines general education, specialized subjects, and practical training to ensure a comprehensive, balanced education adapted to the sports field.

The main objectives of this first year are to:

  • Strengthen theoretical knowledge in sciences, languages, and general culture;
  • Develop physical abilities: endurance, strength, coordination, and agility;
  • Understand the rules, techniques, and strategies of individual and team sports;
  • Apply principles of hygiene, health, and sports nutrition;
  • Promote teamwork, fair play, discipline, and effort management.

General Education Subjects

  • Arabic 
    Strengthening oral and written communication skills in Arabic; improving expression and comprehension of educational or professional texts.
  • French
    Development of language skills, comprehension of sports-related documents, and introduction to analysis and simple report writing.
  • English
    Basics of English applied to the sports environment: sports vocabulary, instructions, and international communication.
  • Computer Science 
    Introduction to digital tools: writing, research, and use of sports monitoring or training software.
  • Mathematics
    Sports-related calculations: simple statistics, measurements, angles, speeds, distances, and conversions.
  • Civic Education
    Concepts of citizenship, respect for rules, and responsible behavior in a collective environment.
  • Social Sciences 
    Understanding human behavior, group dynamics, and the role of sport in society.
  • Physics 
    Scientific foundations related to movement: force, energy, speed, and body mechanics.

    Study of the human body: muscles, respiration, and cardiovascular system. Understanding the effects of physical effort.
  • Hygiene 
    Principles of personal hygiene, injury prevention, and safety in sports environments.
  • Visual Arts 
    Creativity applied to sports: posters, logos, team visual identity, and artistic expression.

Practical Training

  • Team Sport – Basketball
    Dribbling techniques, shooting, teamwork, official rules, and strategies.
  • Team Sport – Football 
    Passing, ball control, defense, attack, teamwork, and positioning.
  • Athletics 
    Running, jumping, throwing; improvement of speed, strength, and endurance.
  • Gymnastics
    Flexibility, balance, coordination, body control, and fundamental movements.
  • Racket Sports 
    Badminton, table tennis, or tennis techniques: precision, reflexes, and tactics.
  • Combat Sports
    Introduction to rules, technical gestures, self-control, and respect for the opponent.
  • Physical Conditioning
    Muscle strengthening, endurance training, training circuits, mobility, and injury prevention.

BP2 PES

General Presentation of the BP2 PES Program

The Professional Certificate – 2nd Year (BP2) in Physical Education and Sports aims to strengthen and deepen the competencies developed in BP1. Students consolidate their theoretical knowledge, improve their physical abilities, and acquire a higher level of technical mastery in sports disciplines.

This second year focuses on:

  • Technical refinement in individual and team sports;
  • Advanced understanding of the functioning of the human body;
  • Development of endurance, strength, coordination, and performance;
  • Analysis of movement, sports strategies, and physical preparation;
  • Adoption of responsible, ethical, and safe behavior in sports environments.

The program includes:

  • General education subjects to maintain a solid academic level;
  • Specialized subjects directly related to biology, health, and performance;
  • Intensive practical training essential for physical and athletic development.
